We offer for your consideration this vintage Keystone Projector.

This projector came to us through an estate sale.
This projector is a Keystone model No. E-65, 16 mm, hand crank.
Keystone is the same company that produced the Stereo-optic viewers and view cards.
(we have a few collections of these cards listed here online, check em out)

Keystone was a company that had great experience in creating ways to be entertained through the viewing of photographic media, static, or moving.

This projector was marketed as a toy, it uses a hand crank to move the film, but it has a electric chord to power the light bulb. Imagine what a lucky kid you would have to be in the 1930s to receive this as a toy.
This projector was produced in 1936, during the waning years of the great depression here in the United States.

This projector is made of pressed tin, it was given a crinkle coat brown paint job. This projector sits on a base that measures approximately 5 3/8 x 11 5/8 inches. The projector stands approximately 13 inches tall.
Please see the pictures for an idea of the overall condition.
The projector mechanism works. We oiled up the gears, and it could use a little more to get it turning smoothly.  The power cord looks to be original, and updating the power cord is highly recommended.

If you are a collector of film and photographic media, and all the ways it is displayed, this vintage projector will be a very cool addition to your collection. Heck !, even if you never run film through it, it will make an awesome night light.
