This is a very rare Hubley baseball player bank made in 1914 in Lancaster Pennsylvania. He measures roughly 5 3/4 " tall. They are incredibly rare. In fact, there isn't another on or completed on Ebay in the last two months. And the Hubley price guide I found online doesn't even have it listed. It says American and National League ball on the front and design patent applied for on the back. It is in two halves that can be removed with a screw. The condition is what you would expect for the age. The only thing to note is that the back half of the man is cracked off of the ball. (see photos) He is still an incredibly rare and beautiful piece so don't miss your chance if you are a Hubley collector, baseball collector or an Americana collector.
