This plug provides a quick solution to the common 'Swirl valve fault'
that occurs on the OM642 V6 Diesel engines fitted to various Mercedes, Chrysler and JEEP Car Van and 4x4 models.
This
plug connects in place of the faulty Pierburg 6421500494 swirl valve
actuator motor and fools the car into thinking that the motor is
working.
This plug has included the resistor
The plug will work with the following Vehicles:

2009 and later OM642 Engines - This plug will work BUT the ECM will need tuning because these engines have sensors fitted to verify that the swirl valve is opening and closing.
There is much information relating to this on car forums and on a certain video sharing website
The Swirl valve can be effectively bypassed by fitting a resistor
across 2 of the connections on a plug that connects to the Pierburg
6421500494 actuator motor.
All parts and materials used are
high quality and are designed to withstand the very high temperatures in
the engine compartment.
Once fitted, the engine fault code MAY
need to be cleared using a fault code reader - you will need to either
buy your own or get someone to do this for you.
You will
receive the bypass plug with resistor. I do not offer instructions as
the fitting will be specific to your car model, as will be the clearing
of the fault code(s)
