Jehol Fossil Frog with Soft Tissue (Yixian Formation, China) - DINO FOSSILS UK

Description

A stunning fossil frog from the famous Yixian Formation of China (famous for its preservation of soft tissue and feathered dinosaurs).  I believe the genus is Liaobatracus, but I'm not 100% sure.  This specimen features some amazing soft tissue preservation and there's also a clam shrimp in the surrounding matrix.  Lots of photos provided, but more available upon request.  This piece features no repairs, restoration or enhancing.

Size: 2.25 inches (frog, excluding surrounding rock)

Age: 122 Million Years (Cretaceous)

Locality: Yixian Formation, Liaoning Province, China
