1896 JAMES McNEILL WHISTLER (1834-1903) ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPH, "THE SMITH'S YARD"

Published in "The Studio" as a Special Supplement to Volume 10, 1896. 

Original lithograph. First and only state. No "late strikes" were issued. 

Signed in the stone with the "Butterfly" cipher/monogram which Whistler frequently used - it is located above the stable, right of centre.

The blindstamp of "The Studio" can be seen at bottom right of the sheet.

Size is: 11 x 8 inches

CONDITION: Good. A strong impression.
