VICTORIAN POND YACHT

This is a fabulous large scale pond yacht probably made between 1880 and 1900.

The hull is made from a solid carved piece of wood, with a keel added on underneath and internal lead weighting.

Deck is made from a thinner section of bowed wood and lacquered to give an authentic finish.

All deck fittings are brass are simple in appearance and have a well aged look to them. Brass deck edging is present on the hull and at the deck level and have been painted over.

Main mast and sails are from a later period. Bowsprit halyard and boom are all original. There are some extra parts included as pictured. The mast will have to come apart to be posted as it will be too long.

Ideal to display 'As Is' or for restoration. Certainly a new sail set and gaff rigging will transform the look of this model.

The hull measures 122cm Long with 29cm Beam and 28cm Depth.

Overall the ship measures 174cm from the end of the bowsprit to the end of the main sail boom.

The mast measures 162cm from the top of the deck.

A great addition for your collection.
