A pair of Arts & Crafts Vases

6.5 inches high x 3.5 inches. Tripod legs in a very Arts & Crafts sinuous form.

Pewter. With Ruskin ceramic roundels. One has been repaired (see photo of close up). The roundels are in turquoise and green and are quite beautiful upon close inspection.

In terms of condition pewter is very soft and the flared rims are a little misshapen - not really bad. They display beautifully. A mark on the underside of one foot looks like a small dent). Very few marks and the marks on them are unobtrusive.

The makers mark on the underside are crossed hatched arrows which denotes this was made by William Hutton & Sons of Sheffield.  This specific mark was used after 1902 when they acquired Creswick & Co. It then is impressed with ‘PEWTER’ and a design number 01104. There are some scratched in info. On the base that I can’t read.

We will pack these really well. We do buy in high quality boxes from Kite - high density range which helps to protect ceramics etc. EBay take 20% of the postage and packing fee and we do charge this at cost and quite often a loss.

We can ship overseas please ask for a price as this does vary enormously.
