He is the gold standard of NBA guards - an all-around threat who averaged 25.7 ppg in his 14-year career, was named a first-team NBA All-Star for nine straight seasons, and, incredibly, was the only player to ever average a triple double over an entire season (a jaw-dropping 30.8 ppg, 12.5 rpg, and 11.4 apg in 1961-62). While he toiled in brilliant obscurity for a decade with the Cincinnati Royals, it was The Big O's final four NBA years as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks that gained him international fame, and his only NBA Championship.
Teaming with a young Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then known as Lew Alcindor), Robertson led the Bucks to the title in 1970-71, and brought them back to the finals in 1973-74.
