Beautiful "Desert Rose" beaded barrettes

These handmade barrettes are made with multiple layers of beadwork.

The leaves measure 4" tip to tip and are made with bright green silver lined and metallic dark green bead

The flowers measure 3" tip to tip and rise up above the leaves in a separate layer and come in a wide variety of flower colors.

Within the flower you will find the third layer of beadwork, the stamens, which rise up from the flower.

This floral beadwork is attached by hand sewing to a sturdy black leather backing 

(2nd photo from the main one is a sample of typical backside) 

The large 2.5" metal french clip is securely through the leather backing.

These are brand new items which have been skillfully made by indigenous artists in Guatemala.

 Rarely are two ever exactly the same.
