Item Description:
THIS IS A RARE VINTAGE ORIGINAL ORNAMENT KIT! Packaging may differ based on when Merri Mac released the kit. All details of the kit are shown in photos, the auction title and the item specifics, this is for ONE ornament kit and at the start of the listing more then one may be available until they are all sold, but each purchase is for ONE kit I just normally show them all to show there will be packaging wear. A Beautiful Sequin and/or Bead and/or Pinning Vintage Ornament Kit! These are the most beautiful type of Christmas Ornaments you can have on your tree! They sparkle and glisten more then any other ornaments you could ever buy! Such a great feeling and look of amazement when you see these on your Christmas Tree and you know that you made it, not just bought it! This year instead of stating the ornament kit title here I expanded the amount of pictures for you to view all the details on your own, it saves me time from typing everything in the title and item specifics to just have to type it all here again. I tend to label everything as a sequin bead ornament kit but the pictures and descriptions may show some are just bead, some just sequin, some just cloth and pinning as I have a huge variety. All beautiful! I also label things as ornament kits but there could be a rare one designed as a centerpiece or table top decoration. However on those my Mom almost always added string and turned them into ornaments, so to us they are all known as ornament kits! ***Information on multi item listings is below, often if there is more then one I picture them all in the last 2 photos both front and back sides showing that you will get any of the ones shown and at the start of the listing that's how many I had (by the time you read this some may have already sold), unless stated otherwise the listing is only for ONE kit. Shipping Info:
I ship ornament kits by placing each in a bag and then place and ship them inside a box. I will NOT ship them in padded mailers like some sellers do as something that is fragile and 30-45 years old should only be shipped in a box!
History of the Ornament Kits:
New Old Stock. Over the last many years my mother and I in effort to make vintage Christmas Trees have accumulated a lot of ornament kits (some she has had since the days of Montgomery Wards). Sadly, my mother this past summer was diagnosed with a condition that causes severe arthritis and she is having difficulty doing the kits, so we went through them, picked out our favorites (I'm going to help on our 31 kits we kept) and now there is a once and a Lifetime type Ornament Kit Estate Sale on Ebay for you right here. Many are very rare, so don't wait or miss out, shop early for best selection. We found these at Montgomery Wards itself, thrift stores, rummage sales, estate sales and online.
Keep in mind the kits are old, while new old stock we have found that almost all, if glue is included, it's dried up long ago. Sometimes you have extra pins, fabric, sequins or beads and sometimes you are short pins, fabric, beads or sequins. Often the Styrofoam or Dylite forms may have some indention's, Satin Balls may have a few frays but this does not affect the ornament at all and is very common. My mother said that was all common back in the 70's and it all happens today as well. Hobby Lobby and/or Jo-Ann Fabrics has been our best friend when we run into these problems ourselves and in almost all cases we have found what's needed when we are short on something.
Understanding of multi item listings:
(Some of my auctions have more then 1 ornament kit available, each ornament kit is pictured, but the listings are for only 1 ornament kit unless stated otherwise. We do have more than one kit of some available, so it needed to be done that way to avoid breaking the ebay duplicate listing policy, I will randomly ship you any of the kits that are pictured in the listing as all have some wear to the packaging, please keep that in mind if you see a picture of one you don't want as to me they are all equal and the packaging is older and pretty much going to show wear on all, if anything major is going on with a particular ornament kit or packaging that one will be listed as a separate auction)

I do offer a 30 day return policy, but it would need to be for something major. Buyer is responsible for return shipping and it would need to be returned as it is pictured and described. As the item listed and pictured is the one that you are going to get (or one of the ones pictured if a multi item listing). The pictures are part of the description. Please look closely, as in most cases packaging shows wear and/or fading. If I see something of importance that will be listed in the first part of the description above next to where the actual kit up for auction is stated.
