Vintage Fashion Treasure.  As the original owner wrote on the envelope in which I found these ads, they are "styles of 40's & 50's."  There are mother/daughter fashions, suits, dresses.  Ads from favorite Oklahoma City department stores, such as John A. Brown and Kerr's.  Some from Streets, an amazing women's and children's clothing store that operated in Oklahoma from the 1930's until 1992. There's one from Peyton-Marcus. Brands represented in the ads are Karen Joy Originals, Ruth's of Carolina, Vogue Patterns, Fairfox, Rona, and Arthur Originals. A few of the ads are for mail order patterns.  This is really great to see.

Size:  The ads range from about 2 x 2" to 4 x 6."  Some are 2 x 6.5." One is a full page Vogue Pattern ad ripped from a 1961 Conde Nast magazine.

Vintage:   According to the envelope, 1940's & 1950's. A few appear to be 1960's.

Condition: Original ads cut from newspapers.  They have yellowing typical of newsprint paper.  Some are evenly cut; others appear to have been torn from the paper.  Minor edge wear. Some have notes in pen or pencil. The envelope has ripping and heavy yellowing/browning. Some of the bigger ads have been folded.
