Cockatiel antique Candlestick. Beautifully modelled in brass with traces of gilt to the bird. The patination is lovely. The candleholders are fashioned as the bird feeders and seem to have traces of plating. As you know this is a super unusual item which I have never seen the like of before. It is stamped 5838 to the base and a indistinguishable makers mark that looks a bit like a deer hoofprint? Whether you are a cockatiel lover or just like the unusual like me it is a wonderful item.
