Die zweite Ausgabe der neuen Serie Beauty, Rich & Rare wurde von der Royal Australian Mint aus einer Unze 99,99% reinem Gold in Polierter Platte geprägt und ist dem Daintree Regenwald gewidmet. Die konvexe Seite der gewölbten Münze zeigt eine farbige Darstellung des ältesten tropischen Regenwaldes unserer Erde. Während die kreisförmig angeordneten Baumstämme und die äußere Umgebung graviert wurden, erscheint das Blätterdach des Dschungels zentral in leuchtendem Smaragdgrün. Komplettiert wird das Design durch die Aufschriften "DAINTREE RAINFOREST", "2022 BEAUTY, RICH & RARE" und den Nennwert "$100". Die gewölbte Form der Goldmünze verleiht dem Motiv zusätzliche Tiefe. Die Rückseite zeigt eine Darstellung eines Riffs und greift auch Elemente des Blätterdachs erneut auf. Das Porträt von Königin Elizabeth II sowie Angaben zu Gewicht, Feinheit und Ausgabestaat runden das Design ab.

Der Daintree Regenwald befindet sich im Nord-Osten Australiens im Staat Queensland und nimmt nur einen sehr geringen Teil der Gesamtfläche Australiens ein - dennoch leben hier etwa 30 Prozent aller Säugetierarten, 65 Prozent aller Schmetterlings- und Fledermausgattungen und 20 Prozent der Vogelgattungen ganz Australiens. Neben Krokodilen, Schlangen und giftigen Quallen sind auch die blauköpfigen, flugunfähigen Kasuare in dem 180 Millionen Jahre alten Regenwald zu Hause. Die Vögel erreichen eine Körpergröße von bis zu 2 Metern und haben sehr scharfe Klauen und Schnäbel. In der Vergangenheit wurden sie bereits öfter durch ihr aggressives Verhalten auffällig und gelten daher als "die gefährlichsten Vögel der Welt". Wer sich dennoch die urzeitliche Magie des Regenwaldes, der über ein unterirdisches Baumstammsystem verfügt, nicht entgehen lassen möchte, kann diesen über einen Baumkronenpfad, verschiedene Trails und den Daintree River erkunden.

The second issue of the new Series Beauty, Rich & Rare was struck by the Royal Australian Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality and is dedicated to the Daintree Rainforest. The convex side of the domed coin features a partially colored depiction of the oldest tropical rainforest on earth. While the tree trunks arranged in a circle and the outer surroundings have been engraved, the canopy of the jungle appears centrally in bright emerald green. The inscriptions "DAINTREE RAINFOREST", "2022 BEAUTY, RICH & RARE" and the denomination "$100" complete the design. The domed shape of the Gold coin adds depth to the design, creating a particularly realistic effect. The reverse shows a depiction of a reef and also picks up elements of the leaf roof again. the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the weight, fineness and the inscription "AUSTRALIA" complete the design.

The Daintree Rainforest is located in the north-east of Australia in the state of Queensland and occupies only a very small part of the total area of Australia - yet it is home to about 30 percent of all mammal species, 65 percent of all butterfly and bat species and 20 percent of the bird species in the whole of Australia. In addition to crocodiles, snakes and poisonous jellyfish, the 180-million-year-old rainforest is also home to the blue-headed, flightless cassowaries. The birds reach a body size of up to 2 meters and have very sharp claws and beaks.
