Here is a very early paint by numbers kit.  The outside of the box shows a 1953 copyright by Palmer Paint Sales.  The box shows a white tab, partly torn but legible that identifies the picture that would be created by the artist- ballet dancers.   The box includes a brush and a pallet of paints (one appears to have overflowed or run a little), a rolled canvas and instructions.   I assume the paints are expired but this is a great collectible or display item.  The box measures about 9 X 4 3/4 X 1 3/4 inches.   The set appears unused and complete with some wear, rubbing and small tears on the box.   Please see the pictures and ask any questions.
