Steps for adjusting parameters of MPPT boost charging module
1. The module input is connected to the solar panel to ensure that the sun shines on the solar panel.
2. The output of the module is no-load, and the voltage of the multimeter is connected to the output of the module, according to the voltage when the battery is fully charged.
Voltage value (refer to the label on the back of the charger), adjust the CV potentiometer to the desired voltage. Note: If the module does not boost, please turn the MPPT potentiometer 20 turns clockwise before adjusting the output voltage.
3. Connect the battery to the output of the module, and then connect the voltage of the multimeter to the input of the module.
Adjust the MPPT potentiometer to a multimeter showing a voltage close to the maximum power point voltage of the solar panel. Refer to the maximum power point voltage on the label on the back of the solar panel. Generally, a lower voltage than the marked voltage can obtain a larger charging current. For example, if the MPPT value of the 18V board is adjusted to 16-17V, the current will be larger than that of 18V.
