This is one of many Bruce Bairnsfather items from a large collection I have bought that I am going to list over the next couple of days so please look at my other listings.

There are many quite rare pieces like Plant Pots and Gravy Boats etc this one is a rare Large Fruit Bowl with a very nice Scalloped Edge

The Dish was made by Grimwades of Stoke On Trent in 1917/18 we know this as the second stamp says made by the girls of Staffordshire in the winter of 1917/18

It comes in very good overall condition as seen in the photos with 1 small Hairline Crack

As seen in the photos there is a Soldier Defusing a Bomb with his mates saying

Give It A Good Ard Un Bert

You Can Generally Ear Em Fizzing A Bit First If They Are Agoin To Explode.

The Fruit Bowl measures 10 inches across

Please Take a good look at the photos before bidding.
