Singlemode Simplex Fiber- Single-mode fiber is a common type of optical fiber that is used to transmit over longer distances. It is one of the two optical fiber types, the other being multi-mode fiber. A single-mode fiber is a single glass fiber strand used to transmit a single mode or ray of light. A simplex fiber cable consists of a single strand of glass of plastic fiber. Simplex fiber is most often used where only a single transmit and/or receive line is required between devices or when a multiplex data signal is used (bi-directional communication over a single fiber).
OS2 Cabling is is tight buffered (i.e. manufactured into solid medium). OS2 is for outdoor or loose tube use i.e. street, underground/burial, etc. (loose tube = not held in medium but blown or otherwise inserted into carrier. B/I is bi-directional where the signal goes in either direction.

OFNR- Optical Fiber Nonconductive Riser- OFNR- Optical Fiber Nonconductive Riser- This is a cable consisting of glass fiber with no copper conductive elements. It is generally used for vertical runs between floors as part of a fiber backbone. This type of cable complies with Underwriters Laboratories(UL) fire safety test Riser/1666.
SC/UPC-SC/UPC Connectors- SC/UPC- SC UPC connector adopts an extended polish method to realize finer fiber surface finish, which brings much lower back reflection (ORL) and thus provides much more reliable signal in data center, digital TV and telephone. The sc/upc connector is generally blue in color on the connector boot.
