this second edition Revised made in Great Britain. 

Sadly I am not really into history but reading this book and looking at the pictures from 1400s, 1500s, 1600s was just amazing I dont know how else to explain it. 

handling the book with care with every page I turned and respecting the age the smell of this book is something I think only another book lover could understand and appreciate. this beautiful book is over 80 years old. 

the cover fells hard but covered with a cloth material. the paper is different than what we see today, the paper is thin and fragile. 

there is staining to the cover, writing to the first page, second page is torn out, all other pages are present some have tears in them but are still holding there place. pages are discolored with yellow tint. 

overall I have to say even with all I listed above this book is just amazing, the pictures are beautiful.
