This is a beautiful, 1953 Mexican 5 Pesos silver coin. It is .720 fine silver, weighing a whooping 18.05 grams. It is BU and has no visible deficiencies.  The diameter is 36mm. So this is a HUGE silver coin. This is a COLLECTOR'S coin!

On the obverse is the Mexican Coat of Arms. On the reverse is the left profile of the Mexican Independence hero, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, within a wreath.

This silver coin has some lettering on the edge reading,

COMERCIO-AGRICILTURA-INDUSTRIA.
