Ruth Warwick SIGNED  8 x 10 Paper Photo in very good condition .....

Appeared in several movies, but was primarly known for her work in Daytime dramas. Warrick first graced television in 1953 on The Guiding Light in the role of 'Nurse Janet Johnson,' then on As The World Turns she enjoyed a four-year run as 'Edith Hughes.' Fans of TV’s Peyton Place know Ruth Warrick as 'Hannah Cord,' a role for which she received her first Emmy nomination. In 1970 she joined All My Children in the role as 'Phoebe English Tyler Wallingford' which she played for close to 35 years, and garnered her two Daytime Emmy nods. Born in St. Joseph, Missouri, and educated at the University of Kansas City, she first came to New York on a promotional tour and promptly drew the attention of Orson Welles. Warrick joined Welles’ Mercury Theater and when he headed to Hollywood in the early 1940s, she followed. Among her notable film roles were 'Emily Norton Kane' in Welles’ landmark film "Citizen Kane" and 'Dr. Sara Durand' in "China Sky." Her Broadway shows include Take Me Along, Pal Joey and Irene. She was also a co-founder of Operation Bootstrap and was a licensed metaphysical teacher from Unity School of Practical Christianity in Lees Summit, Missouri. Ms. Warrick fell and broke her hip in early 2001 while vacationing in Italy. The fall was incorporated into the "All My Children" script and she continued to play her 'Phoebe English Tyler Wallingford' character on a limited basis from a wheelchair. She was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Emmy in May of 2004. She made what would ultimately be her final All My Children appearance on January 5th, 2005, an episode that marked the show's 35th anniversary.
