One of the largest of the character jugs, this two-sided jug was designed by Stanley J. Taylor and created exclusively for the Royal Doulton International Collectors Club (RDICC). Issued in 1994 in an exclusive Limited Edition of 2500 pieces, this is number 666. The handle detail features a dog on the Punch side and a crocodile on the Judy side. The base bears special RDICC mark, individual handwritten piece number, artist monogram and hand initialed inspection sticker. This piece was taken from old inventory, never sold or displayed. Painting detail is precise and color / complexion excellent. This low number piece is in excellent, as new condition with no damage or repairs and is complete with numbered Certificate of Authenticity still in the original unopened envelope, Royal Doulton hang tag and a special extra- a rare Royal Doulton International Collectors Club pin.
