Brake pads:

Despite the relatively hard brake pad material, our Redstuff pad achieves a very high coefficient of friction (0.5) and thus ensures more braking power and faster deceleration in faster and heavier vehicles (>=220 hp) without putting excessive strain on the brake disc.

Excellent braking performance is achieved even when the brakes are cold, but of course this improves increasingly (progressively) as the temperature of the brake pads increases.

As with Allen hard materials, the 'grinding in' procedure is extended to approx. 1500km.

The EBC Redstuff brake pad has a very low level of brake dust and should be used on both axles to achieve optimal braking balance. Like all EBC brake pads in the automotive sector, all EBC Redstuff sports brake pads are provided with a braking coating, broken edges, a heat groove and a powder coating.

Brake discs:

The slots of these brake discs are milled to the outer edge.

This ensures that the brake gases, abrasion, dirt and water that are produced can be almost completely discharged from the friction surface of the brake discs.

Furthermore, 'cooler' air is supplied through the slits in order to optimally counteract overheating of the brake pads and brake discs.

The additional grooves on the running surfaces further support this property considerably.

Due to the slits, the brake pads wear out evenly and in parallel over their entire service life.
