The Kalidum electric underfloor heating System is quick and easy to install. Suitable for almost all room sizes and shapes, where the 0.5m wide mats can be quickly rolled out across the floor in parallel runs.

Suitable for any floor type such as tiles, vinyl, laminate, or carpet. Please note that the mat system must be embedded within a 7mm self-levelling compound or floor adhesive to provide a level floor surface to lay over and to stop any movement of wires (such as when fitting under carpet and laminate)

Available in many different sizes and thermostat options, the 200W/m2 system provides fast heat up times while being economical to run, allowing you to heat your room instead of your entire home making this system a great money saver in times of high energy prices. With an A+++ energy rating and no C02 / carbon emissions like water-based systems. Ideal for use as a primary heat source in rooms with high heat-loss such as conservatories, as radiant heat rises from the floor level instead of circulating from a higher level radiator.

The self-adhesive backed mat consists of a thin wire evenly spaced and attached to a glass fibre mesh. The pressure sensitive adhesive securely fixes the mats to the floor, keeping it flat and ensuring the application of tile adhesive or self-levelling compound is snag free whilst allowing the mats to be easily repositioned when necessary, reducing installation time by up to 35%. The ultra-thin heating cable is double insulated with an advanced core making it incredibly durable, tough and easy to lay flooring over.

IMPORTANT: While the mesh can be cut to fit the desired room size and shape, the electrical element must not be cut.
