We don't know. The importer doesn't name the wood. The pieces are hand made in Indonesia using, most likely, indigenous woods. Indonesia is noted for having a great many species of Mahogany but they also have many Asian and Australian species as well the names of which we probably wouldn't recognize even if they told us. We have always worked on the basis that if you like what it looks like what does it matter what it's called. If you insist on a name, however, we can tell you that they all come under the general Latin heading of Antiquus Mortuus Arboretus |

EVERYTHING that we list on E-Bay we have IN STOCK in our own warehouse.
We do not engage in "drop shipments" on our E-Bay listings.
To do so is to put all of us at the mercy of someone else's inventory and shipping department's proficiency.
We NEVER have "back orders".
If we list it, we have it on our shelf, and it ships within one business day of final payment.
And if we get paid early on a business day it goes out the same day.
