Prince Matchabelli''s enchanting STRADIVARI "Cologne/Parfumee" Splash-on in huge 4 fl. oz. Crown bottle! About 85% full. Smells wonderful. No other fragrance to this day can compare.
When I was a little girl, I used to sneak into my mom's room and sample her Stradivari cologne. I thought it was the most gorgeous thing I ever smelled!
Stradivari by Prince Matchabelli was launched back in in 1942. It was the first perfume the company had released since WWII started. It was named after the Prince Matchabelli Orchestra that was formed in 1942.
So what does it smell like? It was classified as a spicy floral oriental woody fragrance for women.
Top notes: aldehydes, Calabrian bergamot, cloves, coriander, cinnamon, allspice, bay, marjoram
Middle notes: lavender, basil, thyme, frankincense, carnation, rose, myrrh, jasmine, orris
Base notes: oakmoss, benzoin, East Indian vetiver, patchouli, Mysore sandalwood, Abyssinian ambergris, cedar, Tibetan musk.
