Junghans began in 1861 in Schramberg, Germany, and soon grew to become one of the most amazing success stories of the German clock-making industry. This stunning clock wooden clock was probably made sometime in the 1960s and features a very mid-century simplistic design of teak and other woods. The very design was inspired by great designers of the time like George Nelson, Fritz Hansen & Howard Miller. The clock mechanism is actually inside the hollow body of the clock, not just stuck in a hole in the back. So however you view the clock all you see is the wood.
