Here is a BEAUTIFUL Yamaha YFG-811 Custom bassoon.

Yamaha is one of a very few makers that makes world class bassoons that are suitable for performance at the highest echelons of music, and this is one such instrument. The YFG-811 is based on the post-war Heckel design and sports a thinner body wall for an elegant sound with clear focus and projection. The response of this instrument is easy and even throughout all registers of play. This instrument sports a massive amount of enhanced keywork including of course the ubiquitous High D and E keys (see photos) and includes two Yamaha Super Bocals. Condition-wise this instrument is perfect. It was a short-term artist loaner, but I don't even see a nick - it looks and plays completely like new. One bocal did get a dent, unfortunately, but other than that it is perfect. Our master tech has gone over this instrument in the shop and it is ready to take to the orchestra.
