This lead makes it possible to update your existing factory head unit to a new model whilst still retaining use of your stalk/steering wheel audio controls.

The following vehicles are supported with Steering Controls:

  • BMW 3 Series: 1999 onwards .(E36- Coupe only), (E46- 92 Only) (Round Pin)
  • BMW 5 Series: 1996-2000 (Round Pin)
  • BMW 7 Series: 1982 -1994 (Round Pin)
  • BMW Mini : Aug 2001 to Sep 2006

  • To ensure compatibility, we recommend that the vehicle connector pictured above is compared to the actual connector on your vehicle.

This unit is compatible with the following headunit manufacturers (patch lead supplied with order) that has the stalk input compatibility:
