Axe Overstrike Protector Steel.

You are looking at a DIY kit to make your own axe overstrike protector .

I started making these when I was looking to buy a metal overstrike guard for my axe at home , the only ones available where leather or cord , but I had my heart set on something more 1920-1950 style .

The product is laser cut out of 1mm galvanised steel sheet .

Designed to fit older thin handles and modern thick boy handles , simply fold around , drill your holes, bolt up and go to work !

The kit includes ,

1X guard in galvanised

2X bolts and nuts

1X paper label stickers .

The problem with making and buying these as pre folded and drilled is that all handles and heads are different . Folding it yourself is the only way to get the perfect fit. Install will take 5-10.
