Helios-65 is one of the very first standard lenses for cameras with Kyiv-Avtomat mount, later it was replaced by HELIOS-81 2/50 AUTOMATIC and HELIOS-81 2/53 AUTOMATIC. Most likely, Helios-65 became the basis for the creation of Helios-81; lenses have the same optical design of 6 elements in 4 rooms.
