On offer is an older than vintage, Mid-20th Century 3 1/2" musky size Ruby Eye Wiggler No. 3.5 made in the 1960s by Gibbs Tool and Stamping of Delta, British Columbia.  It is in very good/excellent condition (possibly unfished) with intact ruby eyes, bright nickel finish, attaching hardware, and large treble hook.  Very clean--no dirt, rust, or corrosion.

This classic big fish spoon is preowned, but gently used.  Please review the foregoing description and photographs carefully.  I gently clean my sale items; however, I do not alter or modify them in any way.

 

Anglers and collectors often prefer to own and use older tackle, especially earlier versions of lures still being manufactured, or models and patterns that have been discontinued.  Older lures are often more valuable, have proven track-records of success, and are generally better made than many of today's versions.  Frankly, older lures, especially those made out of wood, are just better investments.

 

I have fished and collected vintage tackle since 1955, and am committed to displaying and describing my sale items precisely to the best of my knowledge and ability.  I rate the condition of an item on a scale of poor to excellent.  I factor in age when making this assessment.  The older an item, the more acceptable are wear and minor flaws.  These judgments are my own, based my knowledge and experience.  If you believe I am in error, please let me know.  I want my listings to be as accurate as possible.

I do not profit from shipping charges.  I ship in well-padded envelopes and boxes, and try hard to keep shipping costs down, using the least expensive delivery service that allows me to ship items securely--generally USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail.  Items weighing a pound or more ship Federal Express Ground.  If I can ship multiple items in one parcel to the same buyer at the same time, I charge one shipping cost, and credit the buyer for any excess pre-paid shipping charges.  If you prefer expedited shipping or that I use a specific shipper, please let me know in advance so that I can quote you a cost.

 

Unfortunately, I only sell in the United States. The cost to ship outside of the United States is just too expensive.

 

I do not warrant my items.  They are sold as-is; however, if you are dissatisfied with anything you buy from me, for any reason, please return it intact and in its original condition within 30 days of receipt.  I do not want you to keep something you do not want.  I refund only the cost of the item; I do not refund shipping charges. You are responsible for paying all return shipping costs.
