The letterhead advertises

OPERATING ROOMS, STERILIZERS, DRESSINGS, ETC. X-RAY and ELECTRO THERAPEUTIC
EQUIPMENTS. ELASTIC STOCKINGS, TRUSSES, BRACES, REQUISITES FOR THE SICK ROOM.

located in AGUILAR, COLORADO.
HISTORY: MAXAMILLION (MAX)
WOCHER was born in Germany. He began his work in Cincinnati, Ohio with
surgical instruments in 1837 and entered the trade in 1838. From 1855-1895
Wocher’s shop was located on the premise of Ohio Medical College. In 1870 Max
Wocher brought his son into the firm, which then began the Max Wocher & Son
Co. In 1883 Max Wocher died and in 1885 the company was passed to partners Max
Schmidt and Henry Hoeller. Wocher’s company became known as the “oldest house
in the west” and dominated the instrument trade during its time. The company
was sold in 1992.
The item is dated Sept 23 1915
CONDITION: Normal letter folds in good
condition. The ebay tag is a loose piece of paper and part of the sale.
It is approximately 8 x 9 ½” in
size.
