All I can say is this is an awesome toy for kids (and fun for adults I had a blast testing this thing).  I tested all the buttons and various modes, and everything works as intended to.  This toy can change beats, play songs, it has a microphone for recording your voice, it lights up the keyboard, and you can even scratch a record like a DJ.  This toy really has it all and as stated works great.  Item has little to no surface wear and takes 4 AA batteries.
