Original silk brade red wound stripe for minor wounds as introduced On 14th July 1942 by Peoples Commissar of Defence Order No. 213.  Stripe is silk sewn onto a fabric backing, it is worn on the right breast at the level of the middle button, or just above the breast pocket.  This is an original item, it is also supplied with a reproduction wound certificate printed on recycled paper for a medical sanitary battalion complete with 184th MEDSANBAT stamp.  Certificate is based on an original and is supplied blank, and will need to be filled in!
