To celebrate this special anniversary, the New Zealand Mint has issued this gold coin titled 100 Years of Wonder. Struck from a 1/4 ounce of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality, the motive features a depiction of Donald Duck as well as Mickey Mouse playing the harmonica. Above the two figures is the "Disney 100" emblem for the anniversary, below the weight and fineness of the coin and the copyright were engraved. The reverse features the Niue coat of arms as well as the denomination and year of issue. The mintage of the 1/4 ounce gold proof coin celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Disney is strictly limited to 250 pieces worldwide.
