FeiyuTech SCORP-C 3-axis gimbal stabilizer helps you capture stable, dynamic, handheld footage with mirrorless or DSLR cameras. The gimbal features the same ergonomic and sturdy design as its predecessor, and adjusts its controls to be accessed via the Bluetooth app. The gimbal's 5.5 lb payload and included camera connector cable supports a wide variety of Sony, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Fuji and Sigma cameras. Intuitive button controls and a Bluetooth app allow users to adjust follow mode, switch between portrait and landscape shooting orientations, and initialize and balance the gimbal. Thanks to its Arca compatibility, your camera can be attached to a quick-release plate for shooting from a gimbal to a tripod to handheld. Three 1/4"-20 threads on the SCORP-C allow integration of the included tripod, lens mount, or separately available ARRI rosette extension accessories. The gimbal is equipped with an intricate anti-shake algorithm powered by a high-octane CPU. This combination enables lightning-fast reactions to the bumps encountered while shooting handheld, even when running.
Reposition the camera below the handgrip to improve stability. Instead of balancing the camera on top of the gimbal, using the action handle lets the weight hang below. This enables shooters to capture low-angle boom shots by fully extending their arm toward the floor.
A wheel on the joystick is designed to control the focus with third-party follow focus systems (available separately). USB Type-C ports are provided to transmit this data from the gimbal to your existing follow focus system. Parameters like ISO and shutter speed, or gimbal settings like follow speed and tilt angle, can be set with the wheel.
The 2500mAh battery can be ready to go in 1.6 hours using the rapid, 18W recharging capabilities. On a full charge, it can last up to thirteen hours, provided the rig is properly balanced.
Designed to handle a payload of up to 10.5 lb, this stabilizer gets its strength from the combination of aluminum alloy and a synthetic macromolecular resin.
