This original circa 1880's-1890's Victorian diecut depicts Columbia conquering a king in armor. The king's crown lays beside him on the ground. This finely detailed multi-colored stone litho is visually dynamic. No maker's mark. But, probably made in the U.S. The size is 9 3/8 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide.

This thin cardboard diecut litho was glued down, in period, on to a Victorian scrapbook paper page. We have left this diecut on the album page just like we found it many years ago. We have not made any attempt to remove the diecut from the album page. The original colors are superb & rich with absolutely no fading. There is one tiny insignificant flaw on Columbia's dress next to one star. There are a few minor flaws around the edges. The diecut is missing one small piece of a curlicue along the bottom edge just right of center. The small missing piece would measure 1/2 inch long by 1/8 inch wide.
