Sepia toned French cabinet photo of the painting La Charge by the artist J. A. Walker. This photo was extensively & skillfully enhanced, as issued, by the maker with hand done water color painting over the photo. The matt has the marking of the photographer "E. Lecadre & Cie, Photo. Edit. (P. V.) Rue De La Rochefoucauld, 56, Paris" at the bottom front border. The matt is marked on the front "J. A. Walker" at the top & "La Charge" at the bottom & has the number "646" at the bottom front center of the matt. The back of the matt also has the maker's mark.

This cabinet photo measures 6 7/16 inches by 4 1/4 inches. The back of the matt has some small scuffs off of the surface of the paper near the top that apparently occurred from an erasure.
