7 Antique Cruet Bottles
Description:
Presented for your consideration is this lot of 7 antique castor bottles. These bottles were originally used with silver plated frames and would hold condiments such as oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and mustard. All of the bottles are clear glass. All of the bottles all have different designs on them. Four of the bottles have a etched design while the other designs are molded into or pressed into the glass. One of the bottles have openings on the top for a stopper. Stopper is included. The rest of the bottles have a threaded top for silverplate screw on lids. Only two lids are intact. These bottles date to the Victorian era and are guaranteed to be old. Would make a nice addition to any glassware or cruet collection! Nice bottles to re-purpose or to use!
Some interior clouding is present on three of the bottles. Light chipping is around the top of one bottle. Light roughness is around the top of three of the bottles. Bottom of the stopper is chipped. One lid is dented in and one bottle has a small chip in the side. Overall the lot is in GOOD condition. Sold as found. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Bottle range in size. Largest measures 2 1/4" in diameter at the widest point and 8 3/4" tall.
Smallest measures 2" in diameter at the widest point and 5 3/4" tall.
