Here's an early pontiled blackglass long neck liquor bottle from the mid 1700s Colonial Period....Free blown....open pontil in sunken bottom....real crude sheared lip with drippy layed on ring collar....dark olive green blackglass...round with long neck....10 1/4"tall....Good condition with only a small shallow chip on edge of lip; a small surface bubble ding near base & a natural open seed bubble; Some light scratches. A dug bottle with some light haze. A great looking bottle from the 1700s! If only this bottle could talk, it could probably tell some wild stories..
