SUMMARY:
A Vintage  Looping Black Enamel and Gi Miniature 8 Day, 15 jewel, Alarm Clock & Case ca. 1930, keeping good time for a 90 year old pocket watch, and the alarm is in full working order by the firm of Looping. The clock just cleaned and overhauled by my watch-maker. 


THE DIAL: 95% mint, the satin silver dial with original  large size Arabic numerals and in bright condition with mnor patination.  The dial with fine steel cathedral with remains of original lume on the hands. The third alarm gilt metal hand to the back. Diameter is 40 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition.  The dial signed, Looping, 15 jewel, lever, 8-days antimagnetic.

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with silvered plates and a Bosely regulator, and blue steel screws. An   bimetallic balance, with hairspring and lever escapement, and 15 jewels.


THE CASE: 95% mint, the black enamelled  and gilded case measures an impressive 44 mm diameter and stands ca. 50 mm high. The case in overall excellent condion, most unusual for this type of case, with a few minor marks to centre of rear cover. The miniature clock kept in its original black carry case.


This is a high quality little clock, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality. This is a very fine  period antique in simply stunning condition, which is a very rare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.
