Vintage from the 1950's Miniature White Porcelain Aladdin's Oil Lamp, Roses and Rose Buds Pattern, Clear and Frosted Glass Chimney, Brass -tone Fittings, Likely Made in Japan - No Markings, Condition Issue - Chip on Chimney Lip. This vintage Aladdin style porcelain oil lamp with roses, rose buds, rose leaves and silver trim is in mint condition. The lower half of the chimney is frosted while the top of the chimney is clear glass. Chimney is original to the Lamp; its condition has been compromised by a chip on its lip, see picture. The lamp comes with a wick, its brass-tone tin fitting is in good working condition, wick is intact. Metal fitting does show expected tarnish due to age and use. All you need do is add lamp oil, strike a match and your oil lamp will be lit. It stands 5 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" long, by 2 3/4" wide at its widest point. Great gift for collectors of miniature oil lamps.
