This is the March 1986 edition of the U.S. Army SURVIVAL manual, FM 21-76.

I slightly used this manual from 1986 to 1989 at Ft. Hood, Texas. There could could be a leaf, twig, dead insect, etc., hidden amongst the pages (just kidding), but overall, this manual is in very good shape.

This manual has 16 chapters and 7 appendices. Many of the photos are in color. Most of the diagrams are on black and white.

The chapters include:  survival planning, survival medicine, field expedient weapons and tools, water procurement, wildlife plants for food, wildlife for food, shelters, fire building, water crossings, direction finding, signaling, desert survival, tropical survival, artic & subartic survival, sea survival.

There are appendices on poisonous snakes, survival kits, edible plants, poisonous plants, knots, climatic categories,  and clouds-Foretellers of weather.

I strive for next business day shipping when possible. Thank you, and God bless.
