Here we have an original ~ DATED 1935 DANISH SILVER CHRISTMAS SOUVENIR SPOON ~ . This is a spoon depicting "The Little Match Girl" from a Hans Christian Andersen story. It is a child's spoon (matching forks and knives were available) and the maker produced other similar sets based on Andersen's other tales. We believe the silver content is roughly .825 " minimum " just under sterling. It measures approximately 5 7/8 inches long. The condition is exceptionally nice and well cared for. The makers marks look like SH or HS & SJ or JS? Could not find any other examples like it, so imagine it is a fairly rare spoon. PLEASE FEEL FREE to email me with any questions you may have and I will be happy to help! The new owner is to pay 5.00 for secured First Class shipping with tracking in a sturdy box. I will package this item with great care to ensure it arrives at its new home in as seen condition. Thanks! Jeff
