This model is the final model of the mechanical shutter rangefinder series
that Konica has manufactured for many years.
The prism type viewfinder adopted from IIIA is still used.
This viewfinder has such excellent visibility that it is rated
as a "Lifelike viewfinder" in Japan.
The IIIA required EV-style operation, which was notorious for its operability.
Therefore, the IIIM has been changed to a specification
that allows you to freely change the aperture and shutter speed independently,
greatly improving operability.
