A few are autographed in hebrew. Saul Raskin (1878-1966) was a Russian born American artist, writer, teacher, lecturer best known for his Jewish and Biblical subject matter.
Raskin studded lithography in Odessa and traveled extensively to Germany, France , Italy, Switzerland visiting art schools and working as a lithographer.
He immigrated to the USA around 1904-05.
He was a painter, author educator and author of self illustrated books.
He was a member of the American water color society, the Society of American etchers,
the Audubon artists, the New York water color club.
