METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES and/or SYMBOLISM:  Red poppies traditionally symbolize love, remembrance, and sacrifice. They are placed on the graves of fallen soldiers in remembrance.  Also, in Asian countries, red poppies alternatively symbolize success and good fortune, as well as romantic love.

AGE OR ERA:  Authentic true antique / vintage piece.  I am guessing 1920's to 1930's in age - Art Deco in era

CONDITION =  Acceptable vintage condition - given the age and collectibility.  Pieces look to all be present - but an area of stitching has loosened, leaving one petal literally hanging by a thread.  I would plan to re-sew / restore if pin in intended to be worn to avoid any loss.  In an excellent state of preservation
