Item up for sale is one set of male Chief Petty Officer E-7 through E-9 U. S. Navy service stripes, hash marks, for 16 years service - 4 red on black service stripes.

 

In accordance with U. S. Navy Uniform Regulations, Chapter 4, Section 2, Part 3, male U. S. Navy service stripes consist of embroidered diagonal stripes which are 7 inches long and 3/8 inches wide for male Chief Petty Officer's - CPOs E-7 through E-9.

All enlisted Naval personnel wear one stripe for each four years of active duty service or reserve service in an active status in any of the armed services.
