-- KYOSHO MB-63 ZIP STARTER --

Do you have a vintage Kyosho/Robbe RC car, but don't have the original Zip Starter to be able use it? This is a direct replacement for the original starter cord!

After picking up a vintage Kyosho Datsun Stepside without the original zip starter, I took measurments from the gear it's supposed to engage with to create a 3D-printed replacement. Since perfecting the original design, I've used my finalized prototype for over 100 pulls now on my own car, and haven't seen any signs of wear. Each Zip Starter I sell is printed at a slow speed to ensure proper layer adhesion, and cleaned of flash or other imperfections that come with the printing process. Strong and heat-resistant PETG is used for the handle, and flexible yet durable TPU is used for the cord.

COMPATIBILITY:

As far as I'm aware, this starter cord should be perfectly compatible with any vintage Kyosho/Robbe that references the use of an MB-63 Zip Starter in it's manual, as the original starters seemed equally universal.

ASSEMBLY:

the Zip Cord is shipped unassembled, but all that's required is to attatch the square end of the cord into the slot of the handle. After that you should be good to go! (Glue can be used to properly fuse the two parts, but I've found it's unneccesary.)

HOW TO USE:

with a glow starter already attatched and your engine primed, Slide the cord all the way into the receiving end of your engine's starter cog, and pull back sharply. repeat until it starts!

LEAVE FEEDBACK!

Please feel free to leave any feedback you may have after getting the chance to use it, Along with a review on the item! Also, PLEASE let me know what car you've used it in if it wasn't a Datsun Stepside, I hope to create a concrete compatibility list as time goes on. (Again, compatibility is dimensionally assured, I'd just like to have confirmation before I start saying so.)

Availablility is limited, so grab them while you can! I'm  a college student, so the money I make making and selling these goes to my education. Your business is appreciated!
