It’s been a long year of slowy unloading a bunch of our Mac equipment; we hope you’ve enjoyed our efforts!

Here today we present our 24” iMac (Late 2007) Intel Core 2 Duo processsor w/ full upgraded 4GB memory installed.
Has 500 GB storage. Working condition, including the CD / DVD “superdrive” (I am not sure if this term was coined when this computer was released) definitely works too!

Also included:
• Microsoft Office 2011 (install disc) software
• Writer’s Dreamkit (install disc) software
• Apple DVI-to-VGA adapter (the correct one for this machine)

We bought this Mac from one of our best friend’s in 2010 so although we can say we were the longterm owners of this, we were technically not the original buyer (Honestly close enough though!). The super short of it all is that it is working fine, zero issues, all the way up to the point where we decided to replace this with a newer model (we wanted to take advantage of getting a 27” iMac before they disccontinued them last year, and we did).

The computer was always kept on a desktop so really no body issues to report. No scratches, no cracks, no real wear anywhere. If we were being super picky I would say there is a smudge on the top left corner, visible from the side or above only. That was because we kept a second screen, displayed vertical (VESA / display sold separately in another auction) so I’m guessing that’s the reason for the smudge. See photo … you probably have to really scroll thru the images to find it.

Images:
I tried to take photos of the screen at all kinds of angles so you can see there are NO ISSUES (no cracks no scratches no dead spots) on the screen when it’s on! Keep in mind the graphic card for a device from this era is not as stark/white as we are accustomed to with more recent screens.

Buyer will also inherit the stickers on the front too. Island Strong (not Strong Island) is a great local company here on Long Island, gives back to the community a lot so all good vibes (and coffee) with the decals we’re passing along.

The iMac has been completely wiped. Some of the screenshots shown in the last image were taken before the computer was reset to factory settings (for instance the ones showing how much free space there is, and that we had 10.11.16 OS El Capitan installed). When it’s turned on there’s the welcome screen, then the screen prompting it to be connected to the internet to reinstall El Capitan. I’ve always lived behind the current OS without really worring about it; but I presume El Capitan was the latest OS the iMac can install (?). Also my guess is that this may have to be hardlined (to the internet) for it to reinstall the OS since wiping the system would have also erased the saved wireless password, etc from it’s stored data.

Regarding the original mouse and keyboard those have long been replaced (or sold off separately). Personally I’m not really a fan of the keyboard or mouse offered from Apple so they have long since moved along to wherever they are. Anyway, this iMac worked perfectly fine with a third party wireless mouse, and I had a wired keyboard all the way up to about a year or so ago when I got a wireless keyboard. All these worked fine and are not included.

I strongly recommend local pickuop for this.
I don’t have the original iMac box, but I do have an Apple 27” LED Cinema Display box that I can pack this into. So not the original box, but at least a similar Apple product so you know the box is capable of handling transport. Keep in mind the weight to ship this is nearly 45lbs (so it’s super heavy) and I would think these dimensions are considered oversize (like a tire) as well. Plus insurance. I will enter weight and put exact box dimensions (the longest side being 30”) into the eBay calculator, so yes it’s probably the correct shipping quote to get this to you. If it ends up costing less, you can see from our ebay feedback we’re on your side regarding this shipping stuff and are more than happy to refund any overpayment of shipping if the calculator overestimates charges.

Please contact me with any questions. We’re normal people (not a store) trying to sell off some of our personally owned and utlized equipment. I would be happy to help with any additional photos or questions.

The computer Serial# is visible in the photos and can also be researched as well. You will see this computer has been upgraded (the computer came with the extra harddrive space and we installed the additional RAMs) above what the standard issue was.

Note: XACTO mat not included : )

Stored in very clean, smoke and pet-free home. Yes we combine shipping on any number of items you win. See all images below. If we were not detailed enough - we would love to hear your questions! Ask away!
